How private knowledge participates
Section titled “How private knowledge participates”Documents uploaded to a workspace are parsed into retrievable passages. The system retrieves relevant passages for the current task and provides them alongside public sources.
Useful materials include core papers, reviews, research notes, terminology, method guidance, and confirmed writing requirements.
Improve retrieval quality
Section titled “Improve retrieval quality”- Use readable PDFs or text; run OCR on scans first.
- Preserve titles, authors, and dates.
- Remove duplicate versions.
- Separate unrelated topics into different workspaces or collections.
Citation checklist
Section titled “Citation checklist”- Open the original source.
- Verify author, date, title, and location.
- Confirm the source supports the claim in context.
- Check pages, figures, data, and units.
- Apply the required citation style.
Retrieved passages can omit context and public metadata can be incomplete. Citation responsibility always remains with the author.
